This is a used WDP Angel A1 in gunmetal grey and black — one of the markers that defined an entire era of tournament paintball. It runs on WDP’s OPTO board, using a friction-free, non-mechanical trigger switch for a lighter pull and faster cycling than most markers of its era, backed by dual break-beam eyes that shut the marker down if something looks off with a ball or the optics.
We want to be upfront about what you’re buying: this marker is over two decades old. We’ve stripped it down, cleaned it, and inspected it the same way we do every marker that comes through our shop — but a marker this old doesn’t leave here with a warranty. Think of it like an inspected classic muscle car: gone through and running, but no factory warranty on a machine this age.
Owning an Angel is its own experience. This isn’t a marker you run for years without thinking about it — it’s closer to owning a Ferrari: beautiful, mechanically fascinating, and it asks more of its owner than a modern marker would. It rewards someone willing to learn the platform, not someone looking to set it and forget it.
Cosmetically, this one shows its age with scuffs and finish wear from real use — zoom in on the photos before buying so you know exactly what’s showing up at your door. We’re also happy to send video of it cycling and firing on request.
Still fully functional: a programmable menu with grip-mounted navigation for dwell, de-bounce, loader speed, MROF, breakout, ramp modes, and Anti-Bolt-Stick; tournament lock and mode support for Semi, NPPL, PSP, Millennium, XBall/NXL, CFOA, and Full Auto; a tool-less rotor breech for bolt removal without a full strip-down; and a magnetic adjustable trigger with independent front stop, back stop, activation point, and return-force tuning.
