Own a piece of paintball history with this used Shocker SFT electronic marker, now available at WC Marker. The 2003 Shocker was a major redesign for Smart Parts — lighter and more compact than the models before it, and the only version built with Seal Forward Technology (SFT). SFT lets the Shocker cycle from an open bolt while still sealing the breech a split second before firing, so you get the accuracy of a closed-bolt marker with the speed and simplicity of an open-bolt system.
Condition note: This is a player marker, meaning it has visible signs of use from time on the field. Please look closely at the photos before you buy so you know exactly what to expect when it arrives.
A relic, not just a “used” marker: This Shocker is over 20 years old, dating back to the earliest days of electronic paintball. We inspect and test it exactly the same way we do every piece of gear that comes through our shop — but given its age, it’s sold without a WC Marker Warranty. Think of it the way you’d think of a fully inspected classic muscle car from the 1960s: a good mechanic can confirm it runs great today, but no shop is going to warranty a machine that old going forward. This particular Shocker also comes with a solid set of upgrades already installed: the original Shocker-threaded Freak barrel, a Custom Products high-pressure regulator, a Custom Products ASA, and a hybrid adjustable feed neck.
Ball Detection Eye: This model uses an older reflective eye rather than a modern break-beam eye, and even under ideal conditions reflective eyes perform poorly — so we’ve deliberately chosen not to replace it rather than sink money into a fix that won’t hold up. This doesn’t hold the marker back. As it sits, this Shocker’s stock board is not 10.5-capable, but drop in an aftermarket, NXL-legal 10.5 board — a common and inexpensive upgrade for this platform — and this marker is field-ready at any level, fully capable of running at the NXL and pro level day in and day out. Boards running at that rate of fire don’t rely on the onboard eye at all, so the reflective eye’s limitations become a non-issue once you make the swap.
On the mechanical side, this Shocker runs on 180-220 psi and uses a standard 9-volt battery to power the board. Dwell is adjustable from 3ms to 14ms in .25ms increments, and rate of fire is tunable from a 30ms to 70ms recharge in 1ms steps. Trigger feel is fully adjustable too, with four points of control: pre-travel, post-travel, activation point, and magnetic tension.
This is a great pickup for a collector or a player who wants real tournament history with some useful upgrades already done for them — not someone looking for a showroom-condition piece backed by a warranty.
